Brother Lonnie came to Northeast Baptist after 33 years in the music ministry. He began serving at age 12 when he became pianist at his home church in Granite City, Ill. He and his wife, Cyndy, were called to the ministry after their first year of marriage.
Lonnie holds multiple degrees from Austin Peay State University, Liberty University, Union University, and Southern Christian (Amridge) University. He was ordained as a deacon in 1994 and into the ministry in 2006. He is bi-vocational and serves as a social worker with the Veteran's Administration.
